If you're looking to curb your appetite, we can match you with a versatile protein blend that can be used as a meal supplement or snack to help with appetite. However, our protein powder blends are still relatively low in calories, supplying most of their caloric content in the form of protein. No matter what you consume, a small number of calories will not make you stuffed for hours.

If you are relying on your protein powder solely to cure your appetite, we would definitely recommend adding some food items with it. You could simply eat some other healthy foods with it, or blend it up with a smoothie, adding fruits and vegetables, oats, peanut butter (or powdered peanut butter), etc. This will give you a wider variety of nutrients that will make you more satisfied. Oftentimes, eating just one thing will leave you hungry again soon.

Another option is a protein blend that contains more micellar casein. Casein protein is a very slow digesting protein, and will keep you a little more full since it releases over a longer period of time. Even with this casein protein, we still recommend adding it with other foods to help with appetite.

In general, we recommend having one serving of your personalized protein powder per day. A single scoop per day will lend a significant boost in protein to support your weight loss.

If one of your primary goals is weight loss, you will likely receive a protein powder blend with a fairly low calorie count. However, your personalized blend will still contain a little more than 100 calories per serving. It is important to account for this in your overall daily calorie intake to make sure you are still maintaining a 500-1000 calorie deficit (the most important factor in gradual, healthy weight loss).

Foods like pomegranates and green tea contain naturally occurring antioxidants called catechins. Green tea extract is packed full of a special catechin called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which has been shown to promote weight loss and prevent weight gain. As a thermogenic ingredient, GTE may help to boost your metabolism, increasing your body’s ability to burn calories.

For folks with a weight loss goal, we may also include a serving of green tea extract. Each serving of green tea extract contains a negligible amount of naturally-occurring caffeine (22.5mg per serving, less than 1/5th of a cup of coffee).
